Delight Organic GmbH is the distribution partner of the Qimei Group: we bring certified organic products directly from our producer's production to the trade — close to the producer, honest in communication and consistent in quality.
We operate our own warehouse in Germany and deliver quickly and reliably throughout Europe from there.
The story of our producer
In the beginning, the idea was big, but the land of Qimei was small: 130 acres of bare sandy land on which, at first, mainly asparagus would grow — a crop that thrives in sand and helped preserve the land from further degradation. The market received the asparagus of Qimei well, and step by step, the small plot grew into something bigger.
Today Qimei has grown to a size nobody thought possible before. We could not have achieved this without our customers: their continuous trust has, since 1999, justified the dedication we put into every single batch.
Delight Organic is the distribution partner of this story: we bring the products of Qimei to the market — with tested quality in every delivery, certified systems and partnerships that last for years.
The producer in numbers
Growing production — one facility at a time
Our popularity in local markets allowed us to expand our growing area and sustainably produce more items. Then we faced a new problem: how to get our products to more customers while preserving nutrients and flavour for longer? The answer was our first own facility.
In 2005 we built our first factory right next to our farmland — an IQF production facility that opened up a bigger market and a broader audience. Through close exchange with customers, more facilities followed to serve the growing needs of the market. Today there are five:
